Slovenian Amb. summoned to Iran's MFA

Tehran (IP) - Slovenia ambassador to Tehran has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in wake of the Slovenian prime minister's participation in the virtual gathering of Mujahedin Khalgh Organization (MKO).

Iran PressIran news: Following Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša's presence at the MKO meeting, the Slovenian Ambassador to Tehran, Kristina Radi, has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was emphasized in the meeting that the presence of the Prime Minister of Slovenia in a terrorist and hated group gathering and the untrue and vulgar statements are against the diplomatic Protocol and the spirit of bilateral relations.
At the same time, it was declared that supporting a terrorist group is contrary to the UN Charter and international law and human rights values and is in no way acceptable.
