The Iranian ambassador and the Turkish deputy interior minister met to discuss expanding cooperation between the two countries on the border and the fight against drugs and terrorism.

Iran PressAsia: The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ankara, Mohammad Farazmand, referring to the meeting with Muhterem Ince, the Deputy Minister of Interior of Turkey, tweeted: Cooperation between the two neighboring countries covers a wide range of vital issues, including cross-border cooperation, counter-narcotics, terrorism, and security cooperation.

"Today I hosted Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Farazmand to discuss the two countries' cooperation, especially in security," Turkish Deputy Interior Minister Muhterem Ince also tweeted. 219
