Tehran (IP) - Vice President for Women and Family Affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar, said: "The people of Iran and Japan have many historical and cultural commonalities, which provide a good ground for expanding cooperation and consensus between entrepreneurs and women of the two countries."

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at the webinar "Supporting Women Entrepreneurs in the Corona Age with Emphasis on the Digital Market," the vice president pointed to cooperation with Japanese institutions and entrepreneurs, adding: "We have good cooperation with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation in various fields, including supporting entrepreneurs and women."

"Economic pressure on the Iranian people, entrepreneurs and women continues, but these pressures have strengthened their will to improve the economic situation," Vice president for Women and Family Affairs said, referring to unfair sanctions against Iran during the Corona outbreak.

Masoumeh Ebtekar called for the cooperation of Iranian and Japanese entrepreneurs and said: "Women in both countries not only did entrepreneurship and create jobs for other women and even men, but they also sowed the seeds of hope in the next generation."

Referring to the role of Iranian and Japanese women in combating the spread of corona, the vice president underlined: "They shared their experiences with others using new tools such as digital marketing."

Ebtekar added that Corona mobilized people to help each other. Corona not only forced us to change our lifestyle but also strengthened our humanitarian outlook.
