Afghanistan (IP) – Taliban's spokesman in Afghanistan said the security of diplomatic places in the country would be ensured.

Iran PressAsia: In a phone interview with Iran Press on Monday, Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the Taliban would not attack consulates and other diplomatic places, and their security would be restored.

He also claimed that the Taliban was controlling most Afghan districts and had established security.

Referring to the advance of Taliban forces in different parts of Afghanistan, he said: "The important principle is to protect the security and lives of the people and there is no concern in this regard."

Meanwhile, on sunday the first vice president of Afghanistan, Amrullah Saleh noting that a historic opportunity for unity has been created in the country, stressed that the Taliban would never control and rule Afghanistan.

As Taliban forces are advancing in many parts of the Afghanistan, most foreign forces including US-led coalition and NATO forces are leaving country since 2001 US-led war which killed more than 50,000 Afghan civilians.
