Tehran (IP): Iranian Oil Minister underscores that the decision of OPEC+ has no effect on Iran's will to increase exports.

Iran PressIran news: "Whenever the sanctions are lifted, we will return to the market as soon as possible," said Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh after the end of the 18th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting, stressing that the decision of OPEC+ had no effect on Iran's will to increase oil exports.

The Iranian oil minister also said: "Some countries think that there has been injustice and some have received more quotas."

The 18th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting (often referred to as OPEC+) ended and the countries scheduled to meet again by video conference on Monday this week.

The meeting will focus on how to gradually increase oil production.

OPEC+ on Friday agreed to an easing of cuts and their extension to the end of next year, according to Reuters citing an OPEC+ source.

The OPEC alliance had agreed in principle to increase supply by 400,000 barrels per day from August to December 2021 in order to meet rising demand, Reuters reported, citing unnamed OPEC+ sources.
