Iran logs 125 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 125 patients had died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 84,389.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to July 01, 2021, 3,218,860 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,889,939 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 14,303 cases, out of whom 1,560 patients were hospitalized.

3,187 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 23,722,091 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 63 cities are red, 184 are orange, and 201 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,442,419 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 1,707,634 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 6,150,053 doses.
