Iran's Minister of Culture:

Tehran (IP) – Abbas Salehi, Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, said that the world's major media had not created an acceptable image of justice and freedom, and the people's concerns are ignored and marginalized.

Iran PressIran news: In a video message to the 10th session of the General Assembly of the Islamic Radio and Television Union, the minister said: Today, balancing in the media field is a serious concern of human beings.

Salehi added: "Main concerns of the people in the world are ignored in the media or marginalized."

Justice and media freedom are slaughtered by power and wealth, Salehi added.

Iran's Minister of Culture added: "The world's major media do not observe balance and justice in their functions."

The 10th session of the General Assembly of the Islamic Radio and Television Union entitled "Media Justice and Freedom of Expression," after a two-year break, was held in Tehran and 6 different cities of the Muslim countries, including Kabul, Baghdad, Beirut, Gaza, Sanaa, and Istanbul, in compliance with health protocols.
