Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the 10th session of the General Assembly of the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union titled 'Media Justice and Freedom of Expression,' Ali Karimian criticized the US for blocking Iranian affiliated websites, calling it a gross violation of human rights and freedom of expression.
Praising the victories of the Resistance Movement, the official stressed that the resistance movement and the media members of the Union should not remain silent against the US and the Israeli regime's atrocities and genocides, especially in Palestine, Iraq, Syria, and other Islamic countries.
The 10th session General Assembly of the Islamic Radio and Television Union titled 'Media Justice and Freedom of Expression,' was held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at IRIB Int'l Conference Center, Tehran with the attendance of Abdulali Ali-Askari, IRIB President, Peyman Jebeli, the head of IRIB world service, and the other union media members, political experts, and cultural activists, in full compliance with hygienic protocols.
The event is also being held in Baghdad, Beirut, Gaza, Kabul, Istanbul, and Sanaa simultaneously.
