There are many palm groves in Bushehr province that produce and supply the most dates in Iran and is the second-biggest producer of dates in the West Asian region.
The dates are harvested from the groves of Bushehr province, including Dashtestan, Tangestan and Dashti, and in addition to providing dates for the domestic market, their products are exported to other countries.
There are more than 6 million palms in different parts of Bushehr province and more than 110,000 tons of dates are harvested annually from the groves of Bushehr province.
