Tehran (IP) - Iran's National Youth Basketball Team will depart for Latvia to take part in Latvia World Cup 2021, after the final stage of the training camps.

Iran PressIran News: The Head Coach of Iran's National Youth Basketball Team Mohammad Reza Nouri told Iran Press on Monday that the national youth basketball team of Iran completed the last stage of its training in Tehran and would leave for Latvia on Wednesday, July 30.

Pointing to the friendly matches hold for more preparation of the team, the head coach added: "The technical staff does not know the rival teams, but the Iranian youth basketball team will face the opponents with maximum power."

In the qualifying stage of Latvia World Cup 2021, the Iranian national youth basketball team is in Group B with Serbia, Latvia, and Puerto Rico as its rival teams.

Latvia World Cup 2021 will begin on July 3, 2021.
