MFA spox:

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman said that the US just claims freedom of speech, whereas nothing can be seen in practice.

Iran PressIran News: Attending his weekly press conference on Monday, Saeed Khatibzadeh responded to Iran Press first question on the measure taken by the US Department of Justice to seize the IRIB websites including Press TV, Al-Kawthar and Al-Alam, adding that such actions prove the US double standards which do not let the world hear Iran's voice.

The US is addicted to various kinds of sanctions and this behavior proves the US' false claims on freedom of Speech, the spokesman noted.

"I recommend the US to take action and act based on the freedom of speech in practice", he added.

Iran Foreign Ministry is pursuing this case at international levels seriously like other issues, Khatibzadeh stressed.

Responding to the second question raised by Iran Press on discovering another mass grave in Saskatchewan province, Canada shortly after the previous one, Khatibzadeh stated: "Canada tries to show itself as a human rights defender in spite of having such dark history."

Canada does not take the responsibility and tries to put the burden on churches to deviate thoughts, khatibzadeh highlighted.

Discovering 750 mass graves does not match any human rights standards and proves Canada’s intention to orchestrate genocide, he added.

Khatibzadeh concluded that several countries such as Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea have urged the establishment of the international fact-finding teams since Canada was not qualified to peruse the case.
