Iran PressEurope: France’s Karim Benzema compensated coach Didier Deschamps’ faith with two goals to help the world champions qualify top of Group F on Wednesday. It was after struggling in his first two Euro 2020 outings and facing calls to be discarded.

A late Leon Goretzka goal rescued a 2-2 draw for Germany versus Hungary on Wednesday night in a whip-saw match that sets the Germans up for a June 29 match against England at Wembley Stadium in Londen.

As Portugal are the defending champions, while granting its position in the next round of the games, those at the Puskas Arena still witnessed history with Cristiano Ronaldo's two penalties equalling most international goals by Iran great Ali Daei. The two men now level on 109.
