Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking on the sidelines of today's cabinet meeting on Wednesday and responding to Iran Press' question, Mahmoud Vaezi stated: "The United States has a dual and political approach to human rights and freedom of expression."
Regarding the US allies, he noted that the issue of freedom of expression and human rights is ignored, but the US treats other countries, whether Islamic or not, in a discriminatory way applying double standards.
He underlined: "The US seizure of the websites of Iranian news networks is illegal and immoral and is condemned by the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Vaezi stressed that this action would be followed up in international forums.
On Tuesday, the US Department of Justice seized the websites of Al-Alam News Network, Press TV, Al-Kawthar, and Yemen's Almasirah.
