Tehran(IP)- Spokesman for Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Iranian nations' turnout had had significant and positive consequences inside and outside the country.

Iran PressIran news: In his weekly presser on Monday, Saeed Khatibzadeh started his speech by congratulating the Iranian nation on the successful holding of the 13 Presidential Election in Iran.
He praised Iranian nations' turnout in the 13th Presidential Election, which he referred to as "empathic presence", adding: "The Iranian nation's turnout in the election has conveyed a vital and positive message that the Iranians, whether inside or outside the country, had cast their votes despite all hardships and annoying attitudes."
Khatibzadeh also congratulated Iran's president-elect Ebrahim Raisi on his victory in the Presidential Election. In addition, he also congratulated the Iranian nation over the auspicious birth anniversary of the 8th Shia Imam, Imam Reza (PBUH). 

The next round of Vienna talks might be the final round

Khatibzadeh said: "It is not unlikely that the next round of Vienna talks will be the final round. Iran has to see if all parties make their decisions or not."

Khatibzadeh added: "It is not unlikely that the next round will be the final round. We have to see if all parties make their decisions or not."

In response to a question about the Vienna talks and whether an agreement would be reached in the new government, Iran's top diplomat also said: "These reports are not confirmed and are not even close to the reality of the talks."

He also highlighted: "All sides discussed the details in Vienna. Neither side felt that they had spent extra time in Vienna. Iran's policy has never been to delay any action to remove sanctions if possible."

Congratulatory messages to the president-elec:

He explained the brief reports of the recent activities of Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs, saying: "Over the past 48 hours, more than 45 senior officials from different countries, including 24 presidents and prime ministers, 4 Parliament speakers and 18 senior political and international figures, have sent congratulatory messages to Ebrahim Raisi, the president-elect, and this trend continues."

Khatibzadeh continued: "This morning, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif had a meeting with Iran's President-elect Ebrahim Raeisi at his invitation.

Khatibzadeh explained that they were served at the invitation of President Zarif, and there were good talks about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and Iran's Foreign policy.

Iran is following Afghan developments with great concerns. 

Talking about the latest development and situation in Afghanistan, KhatibZadeh said: "We are following the (deteriorating) situation in Afghanistan with concern."


Khatibzadeh highlighted: "We call on everyone to reduce violence and adhere to genuine intra-Afghan dialogue," adding: "This has always been Iran's position, and we are seriously pursuing the issue that Afghanistan's national security is part of Iran's national security, and trips will be made in the coming days."
