Envoy appreciates Iranians' high turnout in China

Beijing (IP) - The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to China appreciated the high turnout of the Iranian nationals in the 13th presidential election.

Iran PressAsia: Mohammad Reza Keshavarz Zadeh at the end of voting process on Friday evening in China said the results would be released after the ballots were counted in the presence of representatives of the Executive Board and the Guardian Council through the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in China.

The polling process for Iran's 13th presidential election kicked off at 8 AM local time in four cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong and was underway until 6 PM. 

Iranians living in China participated in the election by presenting their passports or identity cards at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing as well as the Consulate General of Iran in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Beijing.
