Araghchi addressing Robert Malley: No need for crocodile tears

Vienna (IP)– Addressing Robert Malley, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says that there is no need for crocodile tears when US efforts to immiserate 82 million Iranians are ongoing.

Iran PressEurope: Araghchi noted in his Twitter account: "Trump is gone, but his unlawful and murderous sanctions are still there. No need for crocodile tears when US efforts to immiserate 82 million Iranians are ongoing."

He added that economic terrorism amid a pandemic is a crime against humanity.

Meanwhile, Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Majid Takht-Ravanchi on Friday at a meeting of the UN General Assembly has criticized the Biden administration for continuing the "failed policy of maximum pressure", calling the cessation of economic terrorism against the Iranian people a major test for Washington.

The Sixth round of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will resume in a physical format this Saturday in Vienna.
