Greece (IP) - In a meeting with the Greek Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, the head of the National Olympic Committee of Iran said the two countries could have good cooperation in some fields.

Iran PressEurope: The Head of Iran's National Olympic Committee (NOC) Reza Salehi Amiri and the Greek Deputy Minister for Culture and Sports Lefteris Avgenakis stressed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in sports field. 

Avgenakis welcomed the visit of the Iranian National Olympic Committee head to Greece, saying the visit could be the initiation of expanding sports cooperation between the two countries. 

Salehi Amiri, for his part, pointed to the historical roots of Iran and Greece and emphasized cooperation between the two countries in three sports areas, including training, camping and coach exchanging.
