Iranian top adviser:

Tehran (IP) - Iranian Parliament speaker’s special aide for international affairs said his country would spare no efforts to realize peace in Yemen.

Iran PressIran News: In a Thursday tweet, Hossein Amir Abdollahian pointed to his meeting with the US Special Envoy for Yemen's Affairs Martin Griffith and said that in the meeting it was emphasized that the Saudi regime could not make up for its failure in the battlefield on the negotiation table. 

"Lifting the humanitarian blockade on Yemen is an instrument to measure Riyadh's intention to achieve peace with Yemen," Amir Abdollahian stressed.

Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, invaded Yemen in March 2015. The outbreak of war by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed tens of thousands and displaced millions of Yemenis.

The Saudi military aggression has also left the impoverished country of Yemen severely short of food and medicine.

The Saudi regime and its allies have so far failed to achieve their goals in the war against Yemenis.
