Iran Press/ Iran News: Malek Rahmati announced on Thursday that the commercial and industrial development phase of the Fakhra vaccine would begin with the cooperation of Astan Quds Razavi Foundation and Samen Pharmaceutical Company on July 22, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
Rahmati noted that Astan Quds Razavi cooperated with the relevant sectors in the fight against Coronavirus from the very beginning, all its subsidiaries did their best to help relevant medical organizations..
According to Rahmati, the Minister of Health Saeed Namaki and Minister of Defense Brigadier-General Amir Hatami would attend the inauguration ceremony.
Iranian specialists have so far managed to produce several types of COVID-19 vaccines.
So far, 4,289,395 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 742,817 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 5,032,212 doses.
