Tehran (IP) - Candidate of Presidential Election says Iran had fulfilled its obligations under the JCPOA, and "now it is Europe's turn to do so."

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press on his plans in the field of foreign policy and continuing Vienna talks to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Alireza Zakani noted that Iran had fulfilled its obligations under the nuclear deal and "now it is Europe's turn to do so."

As for the US, it has withdrawn from the deal, so there is not yet room for it, but it can return to the negotiations if it lifts all the sanctions and gives the necessary guarantees, said the candidate.

Iran has done its obligations under the JCPOA and now will continue negotiations with the Europeans to assert its rights, Zakani emphasized.

Speaking to Iran Press on the sidelines of a press conference held at Tasnim News Agency on Tuesday, Zakani further stressed that definitely establishing ties with South America and other countries were among his plans.

Activate ties with Africa as a pristine platform for investment, increasing non-oil exports, agricultural activities, and even expanding cultural cooperation, Zakani added.
