Iran Press/ Europe: Iran’s Minister of Energy Reza Ardakanian met with Victor Khmarin, CEO of RusHydro, a company active in the field of renewable energy in Russia.
During the meeting, Ardakanian welcomed the investment and implementation of joint projects in the fields of geothermal energy and renewable energy, provided that Russia finances the project.
Iran’s Minister of Energy also invited the CEO of RusHydro to visit Tehran to establish a joint working group with the presence of Iran Water and Power Resources Development Company to explore areas for cooperation.
The Minister of Energy and the Chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between Iran and Russia headed a delegation to Russia on Tuesday evening to attend the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
