Supporters of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki, held a rally in support of him in Bauchi, northeast Nigeria.

Iran PressAfrica: Supporters of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki along with the members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) held a special rally in the streets of Bauchi on Thursday in support of the leader on the 2000th day of his arrest by the Nigerian army. 

They called on the Nigerian government to release the Sheikh. 

Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki and his wife were arrested on December 13, 2015, during a Nigerian military raid on a Husseiniyah in the town of Zaria.

The Nigerian government has so far refused to release Sheikh Zakzaki and his wife under various pretexts.
