Tehran (IP) - The chairman of the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works said that Imam Khomeini's thoughts were beyond time and place due to Islam that was a transcendental religion.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press on the occasion of Imam Khomeini's demise, Ali Komsari said the transcendentality of Imam Khomeini's thoughts meant that although his thoughts were manifested in a certain geography, the pillars of them were not limited just to Iran.  

Komsari said that the center of growth of Imam Khomeini's thought was Iran, but the components of this thought were transcendental, and in Imam Khomeini's thought, the important issue of Ummah-forming was stressed.

"Imam Khomeini did not address only the Iranian nation but all of the world's nations, all those who were tormented by oppression," he said.

The cleric noted that in Imam Khomeini's thoughts the poor and freedom-seeking people were especially focused on, and his demise followed a wave of comments on his character.
