Tehran (IP) - The candidate for the 13th round of Iran's presidential election said that bureaucracy was an obstacle to investment and fighting corruption would be pursued seriously.

Iran PressIran News: Mohsen Mehr Alizadeh told reporters on Wednesday after his TV program in IRIB as the electoral campaign for Iranians abroad on Jam-e Jam TV that the bureaucracy was an obstacle to investment and that solving this problem and fighting corruption would be pursued seriously.

He added that without bribery, there would be no possibility of corruption in different sectors.

The candidate for the 13th round of the presidential election stressed that the problem of corruption and bureaucracy would not be solved if the monitoring was not carried out properly or the regulatory systems become infected.

Mehr Alizadeh also said that attention should be paid to Iranians abroad and in the first year of his government, the $50 billion capital of Iranians abroad would be invested inside Iran.

He also stated that out of 7 to 10 million of Iranians abroad, about 3 million are elite, skilled, and financier.

The candidate underscored: "The Iranian elites abroad make the Islamic Republic of Iran proud due to their management in important scientific and economic organizations of the world."
