Iran Press/ Iran News: The meeting held on Tuesday was attended by the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy of Iran's Parliament, Mojtaba Zonnouri, the head of Iran-Belarus Friendship Group, and the head of Belarus Chairperson the Standing Commission on International Affairs in the country's House of Representative Andrei Savinykh.
In the meeting, Zonnouri stressed the development and strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries in all areas, which the Islamic Republic of Iran was pursuing.
He slammed the US colonialist policies and stress that the Islamic Republic of Iran from the very beginning strongly condemned the West's intervention in the domestic affairs of Belarus.
Andrei Savinykh, for his part, said Belarus' parliament and government, highlighting the significant position of Iran in the world and Middle East region, called for the expansion of inclusive ties with Iran.
Savinykh also condemned the US and its allies' interventionist policies and exertion of pressure on other countries including Iran and Belarus and said such actions indicate the US decline in the world.
