Tehran (IP) - The Chief of Staff of the President of Iran said: "Iran-Azerbaijan relations have been promoted to a strategic level in all aspects."

Iran PressIran news: On Monday, Mahmoud Vaezi, Chief of Staff of the President of Iran, during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev said that Iran has been along with the government and people of the Republic of Azerbaijan in all critical situations and at different times, and strong relations have been established between the two countries in all areas.

The Chief of Staff of the President of Iran said: "Preparations must be made for the implementation of projects that were suspended due to oppressive US sanctions, and we must activate them in the interests of our nations."

Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said that strengthening relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran is a priority of his country's foreign policy adding: "There is a great potential for further cooperation between the two countries in various sectors, including energy, transport, industry, agriculture, and tourism."
