Tehran (IP) - Candidate of the 13th round of the Presidential Election, Ebrahim Raisi, said the participation of people in the upcoming presidential election would pave the progress in the second step of the Islamic Revolution in the economic, cultural, and social arenas.

Iran Press/Iran News: In response to Iran Press, on the sidelines of explaining his future plans at IRIB, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi stressed people and political parties' participation in the election despite all complaints about the current situation of the country. 

Raisi highlighted the country's numerous economic capacities and said through using the potentials the country would witness economic growth and employment of one million unemployed people in a year.

"We enjoy the marine economic capacity of which only 3 or 4 percent has been used so far," he noted as an example.

Pointing to production as an important issue, the hopeful candidate added that increased production in the country could address people's concerns about inflation, stressing that the boost of production along with appropriate management could solve many problems of the country.

Iran’s 13th presidential election will be held on June 18.
