Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that COVID-19 had killed 251 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 78,848.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 24, 2021, 2,843,523 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,347,752 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,0051 cases, out of whom 1,605 patients were hospitalized.

4,753 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 19,054,521 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 8 cities are red, 233 are orange, and 207 are yellow zones.

So far, 2,608,182 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 460,853 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 3,069,035 doses.
