The Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria announced that terrorists are preparing for a new chemical attack in the northern Syrian province of Idlib.

Iran PressMiddle East: Admiral Alexander Karpov, deputy director of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, said Sunday night that terrorists are preparing for a new chemical attack in Idlib province ahead of the Syrian presidential election.

According to Karpov, elements of the terrorist groups Jabhat al-Nusra and the White Hats have recently moved six containers containing toxic and chemical substances, possibly chlorine gas, to the Jisr al-Shughur in Idlib province.

In the run-up to the Syrian presidential election, the deputy head of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria noted terrorists intend to use a chemical attack and sacrifice the people to accuse the government of President Bashar al-Assad and use this to disrupt the election process and delegitimize it.

The Syrian presidential election is scheduled to take place on the 25th of this month.

Terrorists have previously carried out chemical attacks in Idlib and other parts of Syria, including Eastern Ghouta, trying to blame Damascus for these attacks in order to provide an excuse for a Western military attack on Syria.

The United States - France and the UK fired more than 100 missiles into various parts of Syria on the morning of April 14, 2018, exactly one week after the false accusation of a chemical attack on the Douma in eastern Ghouta (April 7, 2018).

The attack coincided with the complete liberation of eastern Ghouta from terrorist occupation.

Earlier, on April 7, 2017, the United States launched a missile attack on-Shayrat airbase in the Syrian province of Homs under the pretext of a chemical attack on Khan Sheikhoun, south of Idlib in northern Syria.

The United States and its allies are deeply concerned about the defeat of terrorists in Syria.

The crisis in Syria began in 2011 with a massive offensive by terrorist groups backed by Saudi Arabia, the United States and their allies to shift the regional equation in favor of the Israeli regime.

The Syrian army recently defeated the ISIS terrorist group in Syria with the help of the Islamic Republic of Iran and with the support of Russia. 219
