Meeting of JCPOA Joint Commission kicks off

Vienna (IP) - The meeting of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) started on Wednesday at the Grand Hotel of Vienna.

Iran PressEurope: The meeting of the Joint Commission of JCPOA started with the presence of the representatives of Iran and the P4+1 at the Grand Hotel of Vienna.

In this regard, Abbas Araghchi, the head of the Iranian delegation negotiating in Vienna, said about the latest developments in the negotiations: "After two weeks of negotiations, we will have a meeting to conclude and then the delegations will return to the capitals for consultations."

Referring to the reduction of differences in the negotiations, he said: "There are some key issues that need to be resolved, and now it is time to go back to the capitals for the final consultations, and then we will continue the negotiations."

"According to our country's chief negotiator, there are some key issues that need further examination and decision-making in the capitals, and we hope that this will take place in the next few days and that we will be able to conclude on these issues in the next round of talks,” he added.

"There are some key issues that need to be resolved and there is agreement on the rest, the texts are well written, so now is the time to go back to the capitals and have the final consultations and then the negotiations will continue," he said.
