Middle East (IP) - Tens of thousands of Palestinians held Friday prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite restrictions imposed by the Zionist regime.

Iran PressMiddle East: Tens of thousands of Palestinians today, amidst intense tensions in the city of Al-Quds and the constant attacks of the Zionist army, marched from different parts of the occupied territories to the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and offered Friday prayers in this holy place more glorious than ever.

Before the prayers, Palestinians gathered in front of Al-Aqsa Mosque chanting slogans condemning the Zionist regime's attacks on Gaza and Al-Quds.

According to Al Jazeera; Zionist militias also clashed with dozens of young people as Palestinian worshipers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, the spokesman for Al-Aqsa Mosque, said in Friday prayer sermons today that the occupying regime must give up Al-Aqsa Mosque and that the Palestinians must work together to break the siege of Al-Quds and Gaza.

On Thursday, tens of thousands of Palestinians offered Eid al-Fitr prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the Zionist regime's restrictions and continued aggression.

Occupied Al-Quds and some other Palestinian cities have been witnessing clashes between Zionist militias and Palestinian demonstrators and worshipers since the holy month of Ramadan in protest of the Zionist regime's continuing crimes and plans to Judaize.
