Iran, Russia police to boost ties in fighting drug trafficking

Tehran (IP) – The Anti-Narcotics Police Chief met the Russian Counter-Narcotics Liaison Officer in Tehran to develop and strengthen Iranian-Russian police cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking and transit in the region and internationally.

Iran PressIran News: Second Brigadier-General Majid Karimi met Colonel Kozhukhov to develop and strengthen police cooperation between the two countries in the fight against drug trafficking in the region and internationally.

During the meeting, Karimi announced the full readiness of the Iranian Anti-Narcotics Police for cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

Colonel Kozhukhov also thanked Karimi for providing the conditions for the bilateral meeting and announced Russia's full readiness to increase bilateral cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Police in countering the transit and trafficking of narcotics at the international level.
