Iran to stand by Palestinian people with power: Official

Tehran (IP) - The Secretary-General of the International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada said that the Islamic Republic would stand by the Palestinian people and the resistance.

Iran PressIran news: On Tuesday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a telephone conversation with Khaled Qudumi, the representative of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Iran, and Nasser Abu Sharif, Representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement said that the Islamic Republic would stand by the Palestinian people and the resistance.

He added: "The Islamic Ummah will not tolerate the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the bloodshed of fasting worshipers."

Condemning Israel's crimes against the Palestinian people, including in Quds, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Gaza, Amir-Abdollahian stated: "The desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on worshipers, as well as the martyrdom of Palestinian women and children, proved the Zionist’s terrorist nature to the world for the thousandth time."

In this phone call, Khaled Qudumi praised the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the Israelis attacked the fasting Palestinians with tear gas and severely beat them, attacking the Bab al-Amoud area and the scenes near the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Thousands of Israeli settlers attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Bab al-Amoud Gate, and attacks have increased during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Israeli occupiers also expelled dozens of Palestinians from Al-Quds and demolished their homes after their capture.
