Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said one of Tehran’s choices could be extending the Vienna negotiations after May 21 if talks went in the right direction.

Iran PressIran News: Attending his weekly press conference on Monday in response to IP question on the continuation of Iran’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Saeed Khatibzadeh stated: "The Parliament law is inevitable and the date [May 21] is definite and agreed between Iran and the IAEA."

He noted that Iran has had no hurry in Vienna talks, but continued talks at an acceptable pace.

"The negotiation team in Vienna does not decide; all decisions are made in Tehran," he underlined.

Responding to the second question by Iran Press about the recent explosions in Afghanistan, he said, "It is the time to be united against all ISIS and Takfiri groups and avoid extreme thoughts."

"Iran hopes a stable future for Afghanistan and believes that the only way is holding talks between various Afghan groups and the government," he pointed.
