Iran Press/ Iran News: The Iranian president said his administration's goal was to connect universities to production centers, especially industrial centers, to contact research centers and campuses.
At the inauguration of 188 national projects of universities and educational centers affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology on Thursday morning, Hassan Rouhani stated: "Today we are witnessing the formation of science, technology, and innovation centers around universities."
He noted that reports show that Iran had made great progress in science and knowledge in the last 8 years.
Quds Day, day to support Palestinians' rights: Rouhani
Iranian president on Thursday said the Iranian nation would pray for the liberation of Al-Quds, despite the fact that would be no demonstration this year due to the COVID outbreak, calling for supporting Palestinians' rights.
Hassan Rouhani's remarks came as he attended the inauguration of 188 developments, educational, research, student, and cultural welfare projects of Iran's universities, institutes of higher education, research, and technology centers via video conferencing on Thursday.
"Palestinians live in different countries, displaced and in difficult conditions, and the international community does not pay attention to them," he said.
He expressed hope that the Palestinian people would retake their land and Muslims would achieve their long-held dream.
Noting that tomorrow is Quds Day, he said: "We celebrate this day and pray for the freedom of Al-Quds."
