Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is waiting for the results of the investigation into the cause of the accident for the Swiss diplomat, adding that the body of the deceased has been transferred to forensic medicine and Upon completion of the necessary inspection, it will be provided to the Swiss Embassy.

Khatibzadeh, noting that the Iranian Foreign Ministry has been in contact with the Swiss Embassy in Tehran for the past few hours, announced that the Swiss Ambassador in Tehran met with relevant officials at the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday and exchanged views on various aspects of the issue.

He highlighted: "Iran will take all necessary measures and necessary cooperation in the framework of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations provisions."

Earlier on Tuesday, Mojtaba Khaledi, the spokesman for the Iranian Emergency Management Agency, announced the death of the first secretary of the Swiss embassy in Tehran after falling from a tower in Tehran's Kamaraniyeh district.

The Swiss Foreign Ministry in Tehran also confirmed the news on Tuesday, calling it an incident.
