Shiraz (IP) - The Night of Qadr rituals and the ceremony for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali, the first Imam of the Shias, was held in the holy shrine of Shahcheragh in Shiraz, observing health protocols.

Iran PressIran news: The people of Shiraz, the capital of Fars province, in the south of Iran, on Monday night, on the second night of Qadr, attended the holy shrine of Shahcheragh (AS) and prayed to their god.

The nineteenth, twenty-first, and twenty-third nights of the holy month of Ramadan are called Qadr Nights.

On these nights, the Quran was first sent down from Heaven to the world and the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the prophet Muhammad

On these nights Muslims pray all night for their God with the night, reciting the Qur'an putting it on their heads, and recite the Joshan Kabir pray.
