Tehran (IP): The head of the Iran Mine House announced the expansion of cooperation between Iran and China in the field of technology and mineral exploration.

Iran Press/Iran News: "Mohammad Reza Bahraman," the head of the Iranian Mine House, said: "Cooperation with the Chinese can be a great opportunity to develop the use of new technologies, increase the depth of mineral exploration, and equip mines and units with the necessary machinery."

Bahraman added: "The signing of the agreement further paves the way for the creation of various agreements between economic activists and the private sector of Iran and China, and this is where we should think about bilateral win-win agreements."

The head of Iran's Mine House said: "Iran has a great advantage over China in having oil and gas, and China's billion-man population means a huge consumer market."

According to Bahraman, China has a good capacity to use the products of Iran's mining and mineral industries.

The head of Iran's Mine House stressed that assessments suggest that at least    $ 1.5 billion should be invested in mining machinery over a short period of five years and that the Chinese could easily meet that need.

The Iran-China Cooperation Document was signed by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on March 27, 2021, in Tehran.

This document serves as a strategy to use the capacities of Iran and China, aiming at outlining the perspective of long-term mutual cooperation in various economic and cultural fields.
