Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that in the past 24 hours, 407 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 71,758.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to the health ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 2,499,077, and 1,954,321 of them were recovered.

According to diagnostic criteria from yesterday to April 30, 2021, according to definitive diagnostic criteria, 19,272 new patients with COVID-19 were identified in the country, of which 3,202 were hospitalized.

5,398 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 15,830,271 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 198 cities are in red, 157 in orange, 74 are in yellow, and 9 are in the blue zones.

So far, 858,296 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 209,827 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country were reached 1,068,123 doses.
