Iran's daily Covid-19 death toll hits new record

Tehran (IP) - Iran Health Ministry announced on Thursday that in the past 24 hours, 462 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 70,532.

Iran PressIran news: According to the Health Ministry, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 2,438,193, and 1,907,190 of them were recovered.

According to diagnostic criteria from yesterday to April 27, 2021, 20,963 new patients with COVID-19 were identified in the country, of which 3,386 were hospitalized.

5,287 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 15,435,147 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 198 cities are in red, 157 in orange, 74 are in yellow and 9 are in the blue zones.

So far, 705,147 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 184,407 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 889,554 doses.
