Tehran (IP) – The chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament said Tehran did not trust the US and West parties, noting that they must prove themselves in practice.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press on the Parliament's assessment of the nuclear talks in Vienna to lift the sanctions, Mojtaba Zonnouri stated that the promises of the other parties should be implemented in practice, and then Iran would verify so that the United States and Europe's behavior could be measured and evaluated.

He pointed out that it would take two to three or even four months from ordering oil to load, transport, deliver and receive the money in order to verify the lifting of oil and banking sanctions.

"During verification, it must be proved that the United States and Europe are not an obstacle to Iran's economic interaction with the world," he concluded.

Iran and the remaining parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) are currently involved in ongoing discussions to revive the deal. The Iran nuclear deal has survived almost three years of unilateral US sanctions on Iran, which in turn prompted Tehran to reduce its own commitments in a legal move under the accord.
