Iran Press/ Iran news: "I had excellent consultations with Sheikh Tamim," Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on Twitter after meeting with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha.
Zarif said that during the meeting, he discussed bilateral issues, the development of relations and the strengthening of coordination on regional and global issues.
"The Hope Initiative is Iran's approach to the region, and our neighbors are our priority," Zarif emphasized.
In a meeting with the Emir of Qatar, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, explaining the latest developments in Iran-Qatar relations in various political and economic fields, positively assessed the existing fields and capacities for expanding relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Iranian Foreign Minister also explained the regional perspective of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the development of interactions with the countries of the region, as well as the latest developments in the talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the P4+ 1 countries.
The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, also stressed the importance of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in the region and noted Qatar's interest in expanding cooperation between the two countries.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also met with his Qatari counterpart on Sunday evening.
In a meeting with Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Zarif emphasized Iran's approach to developing relations with countries in the region, while welcoming regional talks to establish stability in the region, and considered it a serious necessity. 219
