Tehran (IP) – Mamali Shafahi, an Iranian artist, was among the 30 selected artists of the Sovereign Asian Art Prize.

Iran PressIran News: The Sovereign Asian Art Prize was launched in 2003 to introduce local artists internationally and raise funds for art programs that support underprivileged children.

The award ceremony is held every year and is the most established and prestigious annual art award in Asia and the Pacific.

Some of the contemporary artists in the middle of their careers are selected by a panel of art experts and asked to submit three works of art online.

A jury of world-class art experts then shortlists the top 30 works of art from a wide range of digital images.

Shortlisted works of art are then displayed in Hong Kong; Where they have been judged for the second time and also the people vote for them.
