Tehran (IP) - Pakistan’s Foreign Minister and Iran’s Parliament Speaker met in Tehran and discussed the reinforcement of the bilateral ties between the two countries.

Iran PressIran News: Meeting with Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on Wednesday, the Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi pointed to the recent initiative of the two countries for creating border markets and launching new cross border points.

Qureshi stressed the regular exchange of parliamentary delegations between the two countries and stressed the need for the reinforcement of coordination in the international forums such as the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum.

The Pakistani FM also informed the Iranian side of the violation of human rights in the Indian-controlled Jammu and Kashmir area, appreciating the support for the people of the area by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
