A magnitude 5.9 earthquake shook Bushehr provinces and Khuzestan in southern Iran on Sunday. Also, neighboring provinces of Fars and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad felt the shock.

Iran PressIran news: The severe temblor struck a border area between Bushehr and Fars province at 11:11 local time at the depth of 10 kilometers below the earth's surface.

The epicenter of the quake reported by Bandar Ganaveh( Genaveh Port) in Bushehr province according to the Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran.

No damage or casualties have been reported so far.

Some tremors jolted the area after the quake.
