Golestan (IP) – The fishing season for bony fishes on Golestan Province's coasts (northeastern Iran) has been extended until April 14, 2021.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to the Deputy Director of Fisheries and Fishing Ports of the General Directorate of Fisheries of Golestan Province Mohsen Yahyaei, one of the most important reasons for extending the fishing season this year was the late migration of whitefish to the shores of the province.

The fishing season for bony fishes on the coasts of Golestan Province starts in October and continues until the end of March, which this year has been extended until April 14.

Various fish such as whitefish, mullet, and carp are caught on the shores of Golestan Province.
