Iran Press/ Asia: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with the Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov to discuss bilateral and regional cooperation during his first diplomatic tour in the year 1400 (New year in Iranian calendar starting from March 21).
FM Zarif will travel to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan during the trip, which started today (April 5) and will last until April 8.
Developing relations with Central Asia, a region of civilizational, historical, and cultural commonalities, has always been one of Iran's top priorities.
