Tehran (IP) – The Commander of the Border Guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran Police said one of the joint border plans of Iran and Iraq would be the downfall of the bases of terrorist outfits and outlaws this year.

Iran PressIran News: In a meeting with commanders and managers of law enforcement and border guards of Kermanshah Province Brigadier-General Ahmad-Ali Goudarzi stated on Thursday: "With the collaboration  between the borders of the Islamic Republic and Iraq, more serious measures will be taken this [Iranian] year to overthrow the bases related to terrorist outfits and outlaws."

Having a population of 2 million, Kermanshah Province shares a 371-kilometer border with Iraq.
