Iran, Iraq stressed expansion of judicial cooperation

Baghdad (IP) - Iran's Ambassador to Baghdad and the Chairman of Iraq's Supreme Judiciary Council stressed the expansion of the judicial cooperation of the two countries.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iraj Masjedi and Faiq Zidan met on Tuesday and stressed the expansion of the two countries' judicial cooperation. The pardon of some Iranians in the Iraqi prisons, extradition convicts to Iran, and the introduction of a representative to pursue the Iranian judicial affairs in Iraq were among the most important issues discussed during the meeting.

The Chairman of Iraq's Supreme Judiciary Council, for his part, promised to issue the orders for the cooperation of the relevant Iraqi judiciary agencies with Iran.
