Tehran (IP) - Iran's Energy Minister said the ministry has inaugurated 307 projects with an investment of 81,022 billion Tomans.

Iran PressIran news: Reza Ardakanian stated that the Ministry of Energy had promised to complete 250 projects with an investment of 50,000 billion tomans, while it succeeded in inaugurating 307 projects.

"While the country is facing economic and psychological war, the ministry was able to perform its duty in providing water and electricity services well," He highlighted.

Referring to the national plan 'Every Week A-B Iran' (weekly inauguration of utility projects), Ardakanian noted that the plan started in April 2020 and now, with the efforts of all the Ministry personals, the operation of the plans would be completed.

The minister also reported that 14 reservoirs, 10 urban water supply projects, 9 water treatment plants, 13 sewage treatment plants, and water supply to 1,650 villages were among the projects of the ministry of energy.

"As with the electricity," he said, "9 new power plants, 30 small-scale power plants, 25 renewable power plants with a capacity of 2,335 MB were put into operation."

In the ceremony, the following projects were inaugurated: combined cycle power plant steam in Mazandaran Province with 4.380 billion tomans of investment, 'Nohob' Dam project in Qazvin province with 465 billion tomans investment, water treatment plant in Gilan with 166 billion tomans investment, and sewage treatment plant in the west of Tehran with 9000 billion tomans investment.
